Nhaman is a director in the Los Angeles office. She manages complex multigenerational relationships for ultra-high-net-worth families. Nhaman leads a team of highly experienced wealth management professionals who specialize in asset management, private banking, trust and fiduciary management, and financial and estate planning including family dynamics and governance. Nhaman joined Abbot Downing in 2015 as a senior wealth strategist before moving into her role as a relationship manager.
Prior to Abbot Downing, Nhaman was an attorney at a premier estate planning firm in Century City where she advised high-net-worth individuals on all aspects of estate and gift tax issues, multigenerational wealth transfers, business succession planning, charitable giving, and post-death trust administration. Previously, Nhaman also taught estate planning to other professionals through the UCLA Extension CFP® program.
Nhaman earned her master of laws degree in taxation from Northwestern University School of Law and her juris doctor degree from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Irvine.
Nhaman is a member of the State Bar of California. She has served on the Executive Committee and was the past chair of: the Trusts and Estates Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Taxation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
